India win the Twenty 20 World Cup

This is indeed quite amazing considering that this India team was considered rank-outsiders for this tournament – especially since the Big 3 – Tendulkar, Dravid and Ganguly were not there. But hats off to the team and special credit to Dhoni to pull this through – he led with a calm assurance. We surely have found our future captain – no doubts about that.

India vs Pakistan – Twenty 20 World Cup Final

Any India Pakistan match is special – add to it that it is a final of a World Cup just makes it special indeed. Both the teams have shrugged off their World Cup failures earlier this year – thanks primarily to a fresh approach shown by both teams. In fact, the Indian team does not even have a coach – so, it is really heartening to see such a fantastic performance indeed. No matter who wins or loses tomorrow, I am sure it will be an enthralling final.

From the match perspective, I just hope that the match lives up to the hype of a final.  Hopefully, Yuvi will fire for India and so will Dhoni. This promises to be a mouth-watering finale especially since the last encounter between the two ended in a tie.

Yuvi’s 6 sixers

Yuvraj Singh hit 6 sixers in an over to power India to a win over England in the Twenty 20 World Cup. India still needs to beat South Africa tomorrow to be in contention for a semi-final berth. Here is the link to that power-hitting:

India wins a thiller against Pakistan

In the ongoing 20-20 World Cup going on South Africa, India edged out Pakistan in a thriller. You can read all about the match here. I shall leave you guys with the video of the “bowl-out” that ensued – this is similar to the penalty shootout in soccer. India won this bowl-out 3-0 and hence beat Pakistan in this match.

Enjoy it – no matter what the critics have to say about it.
