Coming to India

Hi All,

We are coming to India for a vacation from April 11th – May 10th. If you happen to be there and want to meet up, please do let me know – just ping me through the Comments.

As such, I shall be a bit lazy in publishing posts – i shall try though.

Cheers,

Cancun Trip in December 2007

My wife and I visited Cancun from December 22nd – December 27th, 2007.It was a wonderful trip and i would like to share the places that we visited:

Day 1: Visit to the Isla Mujeres island – this included a lot of activities such as snorkeling, lunch and a trip around the island on a golf cart

Day 2: Trip to Chichen Itza, one of the 7 wonders of the world – this was a conducted bus tour in which they serve breakfast, unlimited drinks 🙂 and lunch.

Day 3: Resort break and Playa Del Carmel – during this day, we enjoyed the resort and its facilities such as the swim-by bar, swimming pool overlooking the beach and also the beach. We also checked out the beautiful beach at Playa Del Carmel where we also shopped around in the local stores.

Day 4: Xel-Ha water park in the morning – here, we did the Sea Trek, where you put on an oxygen helment and then hit the sea bed and walk on it. There, you can see a variety of marine life – it is quite an experience

Day 4: Tulum in the afternoon – this is another ancient Mayan ruin overlooking the ocean

Day 5: Checkout from the hotel

Overall, it was a very relaxing and enjoyable tour – highly recommended.

Cheers,

Thyaga
